The traditional Chinese Dragon Boat Festival was on June 6th 2011,
which was May 5th of Chinese Moon Calendar. This Dragon Boat Festival
is to memorize Qu Yuan, the great poet, artist and writer in China
2,000 years ago. His articles and poems, especially Li Sao, were one of
the origins of Chinese culture. However, he could not pursue his
political goal. Therefore he desperately suicided himself into the Milo
River. Nowadays there are many people just like Qu Yuan, who is
talented but cannot get a chance to realize his dream. For the sake of
helping these people, WCAA creates a life platform for these gifted
people to realize their dreams, to dedicate their abilities to human
society, and to facilitate the development of global art and culture.
In addition, this party helps westerners to understand the story of the
Dragon Boat Festival, so as to facilitate western-eastern culture
exchange.
In this party, people performed wonderful dancing and singing, and
